Beta vulgaris

A vigorous variety noted for its dark green deeply-savoyed leaves and thick white stems. Plants are tall at 22-27” and extremely wide. More cold hardy than other chards, overwinters in a cold frame in southern BC. This variety is slower to germinate ~7-14 days. 55 days to maturity
