A little known but easy to grow excellent perennial flower! Despite the common name of Purple Mullen, this mix comes in various shades of purple, peach, pinks and whites. Plants form a low rosette of leaves at the base with the flower spikes to 24" rising above in mid spring. Beautiful romantic blooms are excellent cut flowers for local sales. Short-lived perennial will self seed. Best when planted in a group in the middle zone of a cottage garden. Drought resistant with a long tap root.
