Black Forest Kabocha

Cucurbita maxima

Medium vining plants produce 4-5 slightly flattened dark green/grey 3–4-pound fruits that have a dry, sweet and silky orange flesh that is sweet, rich and extremely delicious. The skin is tender and edible. Stores well until February or March.
