This is a versatile and resilient blue oyster cultivar suitable for growing on a variety of hardwood logs, including cottonwood, aspen, willow, birch, and maple, among others. Typical fruiting times are May and September in an interior BC climate, though fruiting out of season can occur with wet weather and mild temperatures throughout the year. This strain forms tight clusters of small to mid-size oyster mushrooms that mature quickly (ready to harvest around one week after first appearing).

Provide ample water and only indirect sunlight when fruiting for best texture and darker cap colour. Harvest early (when caps are still convex and edges and tucked under) to avoid insect and slug damage. Keep logs out of direct sun and store close to the ground when not fruiting to prolong life.

Product ships separately from other items from BCESC.
