Sweet Digz Farm (Richmond 8b)

Sweet Digz Farm is a Certified Veganic small-scale farm on the fertile flats of the Fraser River, in unceded Musqueam territory, Lulu Island (Richmond).  We run a veggie CSA, “Grow Yer Own” seed & seedling CSA, grow medicinal herbs, and teach through on-farm workshops and partnerships.

And we’re now the proud home & owners of Seeds of the Revolution! - a seed business began in 2009 by our good friends at Saanich Organics.  Our passion for farming and mentoring new farmers flows from a dedication to the earth, to community, to social justice, and to joyful meaningful heart work.

Kareno’s farming career was sparked at a Seedy Saturday in 1999 when she met Dan Jason of Salt Spring Seeds – the magic of seeds has inspired her ever since.  She apprenticed, worked on and managed several farms, served on organic cert committees, attended OSA and other seed-growing workshops, and eventually in 2013 she & Kimi started Sweet Digz Farm.

We are honoured and excited to carry on the vision and seed stewardship of Seeds of the Revolution, and to be part of such a dedicated community of seed savers.
