Raphanus sativus

We use this radish as our kimchi radish. Sown in midsummer, purple roots with white flesh grow to 6-8 inches by fall and can store well in cold storage or root cellar conditions. In milder climates, these German traditional radishes can be overwintered. Seed collected by The Seed Ambassadors Project from the Swiss biodynamic seed company, Sativa Rheinau. Growing instructions

Direct sow in mid to late summer in full sun and loose, well drained soil. Plant 1cm deep and 2-3cm apart in row. Keep soil moist and thin to 2-3cm apart.
